Yes, it would be, wouldn't it?  You are certainly correct about those who wouldn't believe if Christ himself stood before them and told them they'd been mislead all these centuries.

I, too, welcome a new path for Christianity. The divine presence within, as I am coming to recognize her, has given me more peace in just the last couple of years than all the doctrinal dogma I had drilled into me for the previous 50.

					<description>It would be delicious if this find were authenticated. Could it be? For the most literal believers, no amount of evidence would suffice. 

But I would welcome a new path for Christianity, a turn away from literalism in interpreting the New Testament stories. A new orientation with less concern about "truth" and doctrinal matters, more focused on inner experience of the divine presence, would be a healthy development . . . and not coincidentally, congruent with the teachings of the Gospel of Mary.</description>

I totally agree!  I have said for some time that I believe the value of much of the fiction, speculation, and documentaries surrounding Mary Magdalene and now the possible discovery of Jesus's bones is that people are thinking for themselves and "asking hard questions."
